Shari Quinton, DNP, FNP-C

Shari Quinton, DNP, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in general dermatology and providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages at Park City Dermatology in Park City and Heber City, Utah.

Shari is passionate about patient-centered dermatologic care and takes the time to understand each individual’s unique concerns, empowering them to make informed, holistic decisions about their skin health and overall well-being.

Shari earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Utah. Her extensive nursing background includes years of experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurology, emergency care, and the surgical intensive care unit, as well as leadership roles in nursing management. 

During her doctoral studies, Shari completed the Utah AHEC Scholars program, focusing on improving health outcomes in rural healthcare. She also completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Palliative Care at the University of Utah and holds board certifications in both Palliative Care and Family Practice.

Beyond her clinical expertise, Shari is a proud member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Utah Nurse Practitioner Association, Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, Emergency Nurses Association, and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.

Outside of work, Shari enjoys volunteering, traveling, lifelong learning, dancing, and spending time with her family, dogs, and chickens. She loves being outdoors—whether running, hiking, or gardening—and is rarely seen without her signature wide-brimmed hat and SPF 30+ sunscreen.
