Olga Sambu, PA-C, MPH, completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brigham Young University and an Allopathic Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of the Americas. She is a certified foreign medical graduate (ECFMG). She then proceeded to complete a Master of Public Health at Westminster University, which allowed her to gain a deeper understanding of health disparities and learn how to promote equity for all her patients.
She worked as an adjunct faculty and health educator at different universities, teaching both pre-medical students and master’s program physician assistant students. A few years later, she realized she missed clinical practice and decided to pursue and complete another master’s degree (MPAS) to practice medicine as a physician assistant.
She has been practicing as a physician assistant in dermatology since 2019. Additionally, she completed an SDPA fellowship to further enhance her dermatology knowledge. Olga specializes in treating patients of all ages and particularly enjoys treating acne, rashes, performing skin checks, educating patients, exploring cosmetic solutions, and working closely with each patient to find the best approaches for their skin, hair, and nail concerns.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring exotic cuisine, playing tennis, and engaging in art, dance, and music—but most of all, spending time with family and friends.
Olga speaks Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Portuguese Creole, and French.
